About g.fantasy g.fantasy the fantasy baseball league started in 2001 when a bunch of friends decided to try something new and keep themselves busy. As the internet propelled to greater heights, so did fantasy baseball. The commissioner, Nicholas Tzoumas gathered up his closest of friends and started a basic league. As everyone was a baseball fan and a student of the game, fantasy baseball seemed like something everyone would be interested in trying out. We originally started a league on AOL called GreekGuNz Fantasy Baseball and had a league of 10 owners. Some of us had fantasy experience but not everyone, so it seemed like a fair league to begin with. Naturally, we were all 'hooked' almost immediately and understood the craze that was growing. After the first fantasy season was over, we all decided that we'd do it again, except be more serious and professional. We searched a bunch of different websites that offered fantasy baseball besides AOL; we weighed our options and felt that Sportsline.com seemed like it had a good service. Each year, all the owners got more and more into it and GreekGuNz Fantasy Baseball began to have an edge over other leagues due to the extreme competitiveness and the immense amount of trash talk. After the second season, the commissioner, Nicholas Tzoumas designed a supplemental website as a school project in college. It was an instant success within the league and continued the following year under the domain 'GREEKGUNZ.com'. At the start of the third year, the league decided to expand to 12 owners. By the beginning of the fourth season, 'g.fantasy' was born. GreekGuNz Fantasy Baseball was not a good fit for what the future held and was to remain as the starting point that it was. Once the fifth year came around, the league had 12 solid owners, 8 people on the waiting list, a finalized constitution and most importantly, the inaugural season of g.fantasy's keeper league. Today, g.fantasy is a premier, elite fantasy baseball league with a waiting list that continues to grow.
